A billboard marked with black and red letters: “Baldwin Hills Arson-Homicide $35,000 Reward” has been established to attract information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire that raged through Baldwin Hills July 2. The billboard, at the intersection of Stocker Street and Overhill Drive, not far from the fire area, was donated for a month by Foster and Kleiser, the outdoor advertising firm. The investigation of the fire that took three lives and damaged or destroyed 66 homes is still “ongoing,” Chief Bill Bisson, head of Los Angeles City Fire Department arson unit, said. The reward fund includes $25,000 from the city and $10,000 from the state. The phone numbers to call investigators are 485-2504 and 485-6095.
