Finalists in IDM Sculpture Contest to Be Announced
The IDM Corp. and the Public Corp. for the Arts will announce the three finalists in the IDM “100 Broadway Office Building” sculpture competition at a public reception and exhibition at 6 p.m. Tuesday at 132 Linden Ave.
Works from the competition will continue on display from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until Sept. 14.
More than 64 proposals were submitted by Southern California sculptors for the project. Each finalist will receive $500 to produce a more detailed proposal and IDM will choose the commissioned sculptor in late September. Up to $60,000 will be awarded to complete the project.
