VIEWERS PLEDGE $113,831 TO KOCE
Individual viewer pledges of $113,831 were received during KOCE-TV’s nine-evening “Starfest Summer” drive that ended Sunday, according to officials at the Huntington Beach-based public station.
Although no overall target had been officially announced, officials said an “informal goal” of $100,000 was set during the telecasts by campaign spokesmen.
Corporate “challenge” pledges totaling $29,500 were also received during the telecasts, officials said.
