‘Burmese’ Restaurant
Please be advised that the Aug. 18 letter from Don Way stated that a Burmese restaurant is at 3817 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. That restaurant is owned by us and is not Burmese but a Chinese restaurant, which has been named the New Burma Inn for 40 years. The misinformation has caused considerable confusion with customers expecting to eat Burmese food. Many people were turned away and numerous phone calls were answered explaining the mistake.
