Car crashes in Glendora and Pasadena killed four people and left 10 others injured, authorities reported. A car carrying seven people heading southbound on California 39 in Glendora drifted onto the right shoulder when the driver lost control and rolled over into Morris Dam Reservoir, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. The driver, Janet Fixico, 26, of Bell; Daniel J. Pablo, 10, of Bell, and Leo Shot, 26, of Cudahy were killed. The other passengers were hospitalized. In the second accident, a 17-year-old youth driving a Porsche lost control of his vehicle on Orlando Road in Pasadena, crossed the center line and struck another car carrying three young women. The crash resulted in the death of a teen-age passenger in the Porsche, Pasadena police said. The Porsche’s driver, who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, was booked for vehicular manslaughter. His name was not immediately released. Six people were admitted to Huntington Memorial Hospital, where a spokeswoman said they were in fair condition.
