U.S. Drivers
I recently spent two glorious weeks in Scandinavia, where I was lulled into a false sense of security by the fact that most drivers of motor vehicles obey the traffic laws. Then I returned to the U.S.A., where most drivers of motor vehicles do not obey the traffic laws.
On my first venture out as a pedestrian upon my return, I was almost struck twice within half an hour by red-light runners.
