World champion Nihilator breezed past an 11-horse field to win the $300,000 James B. Dancer Memorial at Garden State Park Friday night.

Driven by William O’Donnell, Nihilator was under wraps through the stretch as he drew off to a seven-length victory in 1:52 2/5, just one-fifth of a second off the track record set by Save Fuel on Aug. 31.

Discotheque, driven by John Campbell, finished a distant second, while third money went to Roving Boy and driver Walter Ross.
