Laguna Hills : Information Sought on Man Found Dead
Investigators are requesting information from anyone who may have known a 30-year-old man found dead in a vacant lot in Laguna Hills last month, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Monday.
Lt. Dick Olson said the victim was identified as Gregory Mark McGowan, but his address is unknown. His body was found in a vacant field on the corner of Hendon Drive and Camberwell Street the morning of Aug. 11.
Olson said McGowan was last seen at the Laguna Hills Mall the day before he was found dead. He also said the cause of death has yet to be determined.
“We want to account for his whereabouts and that’s the reason we are asking for information,” Olson said.
