Rainbow Service Co., a Woodbury, N.Y., unit of Cablevision System, filed the $100-million antitrust suit against MGM/UA Entertainment and Turner Broadcasting System, claiming they broke an agreement assigning to Rainbow the rights to a large number of movies in the MGM/UA library. The suit is the latest salvo in a court fight that began last month after Turner agreed to buy MGM/UA for $1.5 billion. The Rainbow deal had been signed shortly before the merger but was terminated last week by MGM/UA.
