Woman Pedestrian Fatally Injured

An Anaheim woman was fatally injured Friday afternoon as she walked across an intersection in the city and was struck by a car, police reported.
Roselee Aiello, 45, was hit about 2:15 p.m. when a car being driven south on Humor Drive by Joel A. Monroe, 27, of Anaheim, turned left onto Katella Avenue.
Police said Aiello was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Western Medical Center-Anaheim, where she was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m.
Police were still investigating the accident Friday night.
