UCSB Women Beat UC Irvine in Soccer

UC Santa Barbara got goals from Kris Browne, Karin Jennings and Kris Spiegel Sunday as the 16th-ranked Gauchos defeated UC Irvine, 3-0, in nonconference women’s soccer action on Anteater Field.
Santa Barbara (7-3) built a 1-0 halftime lead on Browne’s goal with 10 minutes before the intermission. Goalkeeper Lisa Sittel had eight saves for UCI (1-5-1). UCSB’s Monica Hall had four saves.
