‘Baby Jane Doe’ Reward Offered
A reward of $5,000 has been voted by the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed “Baby Jane Doe No. 61,” a 10 month-old girl whose nude body was found Aug. 19 in an alley behind a Baldwin Hills apartment building.
The child, whose identity is still unknown, died of pneumonia. Police say the illness resulted from neglect and malnutrition and are listing the death as a homicide.
