Del Mar
A 43-year-old Del Mar man was killed Saturday when his car slipped off a jack and crushed him, coroner’s deputies reported. Anthony Allen Powell was found beneath the car in the driveway of his home in the 14000 block of Recuerdo Drive about 2:30 p.m. Coroner’s deputy Chuck Bolton said the jacked up car was on a sloped driveway.
