Lady’s Secret, a 3-year-old filly, led most of the way in winning the $223,200 Beldame at Belmont Park for her eighth straight stakes victory.
Lady’s Secret, ridden by Jorge Velasquez, beat Isayso by two lengths in 2:03 3/5 for 1 miles on a fast track.
Kamikaze Rick, the only other 3-year-old filly in the field of five, finished third, 2 3/4 lengths behind Isayso as she suffered her first defeat in five starts this year.
