Pickup Truck Driver Killed in Collision

A small pickup truck that apparently was on the wrong side of Euclid Street at the San Diego Freeway ran into an oncoming car Wednesday night, killing the truck’s driver, a spokesman for the Fountain Valley Fire Department said.
The pickup flipped into the air and crashed against a traffic signal standard before striking the car, the spokesman said.
The driver was identified as a 58-year-old Huntington Beach man, but his name was withheld until relatives could be notified. No one else was injured, the spokesman said.
