U.S. Women Beat Japan on Volleyball Tour

UNIONDALE, N.Y. —
Sandy Aughinbaugh of Los Angeles had 18 spikes as the U.S. women’s volleyball team beat Japan, 16-14, 15-10, 15-10, Wednesday night in the fifth match of a seven-event series.
The Japanese lead the series, 3-2. The teams meet again tonight at Philadelphia and conclude the tour Friday at Chicago.
