Southland Corp. reported record revenue and earnings for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, with its Citgo Petroleum Corp. subsidiary contributing earnings gains over the prior year for the second consecutive quarter. “Petroleum refining and marketing industry conditions remained favorable throughout the third quarter, enabling Citgo to maintain the strong profit trends it established early in the year,” Chairman John P. Thompson said.
