Arson was the cause of a fire that swept through a San Diego storage lot early Friday, destroying six houses on blocks and causing $60,000 in damage, a Fire Department spokesman said.
About 1:30 a.m. Friday, a fire erupted at the storage lot in the 300 block of Willow Road, the spokesman said. The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
