Costa Mesa Man Dies After Wreck
Edward B. Rideout, 27, of Costa Mesa died Wednesday from internal injuries suffered Friday night in a motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach.
Police said the motorcycle he was riding ran into the back of a car at a high rate of speed on Pacific Coast Highway near Brookhurst Avenue. Rideout was taken to Fountain Valley Community Hospital. The driver of the car was not cited.
Rideout was in the U.S. Coast Guard stationed in San Pedro.
