Split end Gary Lee caught four passes for 90 yards--including a 22-yard touchdown late in the second quarter--as Georgia Tech beat Duke, 9-0, Saturday in an Atlantic Coast Conference game.

Lee, a 6-1, 193-pound junior, made a diving catch in the end zone of a John Dewberry pass to give the Yellow Jackets a 6-0 lead with 1:00 left in the first half. But David Bell missed the extra point--ending a streak of 110 straight PATs made by Georgia Tech kickers.

Bell kicked a 24-yard field goal with 5:33 remaining in the final quarter to complete the scoring. The field goal was set up when cornerback Sammy Lilly recovered a fumble by Stanley Monk at the Duke 44. Dewberry hit Lee for 16 yards, but the drive stalled at the Blue Devil 6.
