Burglars Take Furs Valued at Up to $150,000 From Store
Burglars stole between $100,000 and $150,000 worth of furs from a Woodland Hills store sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning, police said.
Officer Ron Robbins said the burglars broke into Sneakerland and Heel & Toe, two adjacent businesses, to get into Woodland Hills Furriers Inc. The three stores, which have common walls, are in a small shopping mall in the 22800 block of Ventura Boulevard.
The burglary occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday, when the store closed for the day, and 2 p.m. Sunday, when it reopened, Robbins said. He said police have no suspects.
“They knew exactly what they were after,” Robbins said of the thieves.
