The State : 3 Hunted in Crime Spree

Police in San Francisco were seeking three young men who are believed to have kidnaped and robbed six people, raped a Marin County woman and stolen and wrecked two cars and a pickup truck in the space of less than an hour. Detectives said the three stole a pickup truck in Marin County, crashed it into a car in San Francisco, menaced the man and three women in that car with handguns and forced them to drive the gunmen across the Bay Bridge--raping one of the women en route. On the bridge, the damaged automobile caught fire. When two Navy enlisted men stopped to offer aid, police said, the gunmen forced the sailors to strip naked and then stole their car for a getaway.
