A 21-year-old woman known only by two different first names is suspected by Los Angeles police of kidnaping a 23-month-old South-Central Los Angeles child who was left in her care. The child’s mother, Estelle Williams, 28, told officers she had left Kiwania Lynette Whitfield with the woman known to her and neighbors as both Aquanetta and Latoya, detectives said. The woman is described as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, and having severe acne. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket and brown pants, with her hair done in corn rows. The child is about 2 feet tall and weighs 25 pounds, and has a one-inch scar on the inside of her thumb, a brown, oblong birthmark on the inside of her left arm and another brown birthmark on the small of her back. She was last seen wearing red shorts, white T-shirt, red hooded windbreaker and blue tennis shoes.
