The college football bowl picture became somewhat clearer. Arizona is tentatively set to play Georgia in the Sun Bowl at El Paso, Tex., on Dec. 28, and Maryland’s foe in the Dec. 21 Cherry Bowl at Pontiac, Mich., will be either West Virginia or Syracuse.
Bowl invitations will be officially extended late Saturday afternoon.
