UCLA Women Turn Back Seattle Pacific

UCLA routed Seattle Pacific, 92-62, in women’s basketball Saturday to win the consolation game of the Falcon Tip-Off tournament at Seattle Pacific in Seattle. Anne Dean and Jaime Brown each scored 20 points to lead the Bruins.

The Bruins (1-1) had a 44-37 lead at halftime and stretched it to 56-39 by outscoring the Falcons, 12-2, in the first five minutes of the second half. After that run, Seattle Pacific (0-2) could never get closer than 17.

Forward Linda Johnson led Seattle Pacific with 21 points.
