Mud Slide Briefly Shuts Malibu Canyon Road
Two cars were briefly mired in several inches of mud that slid across Malibu Canyon Road in Calabasas during a heavy rain Sunday evening, closing the mountain road for about 30 minutes, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The mud slid down the hillside about 6:15 p.m. and was removed by Los Angeles County road crews, said CHP Officer Dan Loughery. The cars were not damaged.
