First NBA Chief Dies

NEW HAVEN, Conn. —
Maurice Podoloff, the first commissioner of the National Basketball Assn., died Sunday after being in a coma for several days. He was 95. Podoloff, born in Russia, was commissioner from 1946 to 1963.
