Rain Unlikely During Thanksgiving
There will be virtually no chance of rain today, but skies throughout San Diego County will remain cloudy, weather forecasters say. A weak low-pressure system hanging off the coast will keep skies overcast and temperatures cooler through the holiday weekend.
There will be dense fog near the coast and chance of early morning drizzle today and Friday, but a weak high-pressure ridge over Southern California should keep showers away.
Daytime temperatures in coastal areas should be about 65 degrees. Nighttime temperatures will drop to about 55. Temperatures in the inland areas will be only slightly warmer, with overnight lows about 55 degrees.
Only patches of snow remain in the local mountains areas, according to the National Weather Service. Highs in the mountains will be in the 50s, with overnight temperatures dropping to freezing.
