Man Killed by Motorcycle: A 51-year-old Santa Ana man was killed Wednesday morning when he was struck by a motorcycle while trying to cross a busy street, police said. Macellina Martinez died at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, where he had been taken after the accident in the 2300 block of West Warner Avenue. Officers said Martinez apparently stepped into the path of a motorcycle ridden by Antonio Lara Perez, 29, also of Santa Ana. Perez, who veered his motorcycle in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid hitting the man, suffered only minor injuries.
