City Election Set: The City Council announced last week that the next municipal election has been set for April 8 with three four-year City Council seats on the ballot. Candidates must be nominated by at least 20 (and no more than 30) of the city’s registered voters and file their nominations between Jan. 9 and Jan. 30. Nomination forms are available through the city clerk’s office. City Council members are paid $268 per month. For more information, call (714) 493-1171.
