Share

Of the 33,676 truck-related accidents last year in California, more than four-fifths occurred in just 16 of the state’s 58 counties.

The most accidents happened in the most heavily populated areas, with 29% in Los Angeles County alone, according to statistics compiled by the California Highway Patrol.

The first column of numbers is for all of 1984. The second is for the first half of this year.
