New Korean-language street signs for the Koreatown area of Los Angeles were introduced by Mayor Tom Bradley, who said the city “must continue to respond to the needs of its diverse citizenry.” The signs are being installed at four intersections: Olympic Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, Olympic and Western Avenue, Vermont and 8th Street, and Western at 8th. With Bradley at the news conference were Ki-Myung Rhee, president of the Korea Federation of Southern California, and Don Howery, general manager of the city Department of Transportation.
