Does It Take an Athlete to Play Golf Like a Pro?
Golfers are athletes, too! It is about time the public realizes the difficulty of the sport of golf. Golfers are great athletes. We are trying to conquer the most difficult sport of all. How many other athletes must keep their mental and physical concentration for over four hours in sometimes better than 90-degree temperatures.
I have played baseball, football, soccer, and golf for over seven years. Golf is by far the most difficult sport I have ever played competitively.
Why dare I compare myself to overweight football players with nicknames from household appliances, or baseball players who are called “fat tubs of goo.”
I’d like to know how many of these so-called athletes could handle my daily athletic activity. This includes: 18 holes of golf, two hours on the driving range, a three-mile run and an hour of aerobic exercise. Put that in your “fridge” and shut the door.
