Capricorn Belle, Justicara Square Off Today in Dahlia

A field of 10 headed by Capricorn Belle and Justicara was entered Friday to run in today's $100,000-added Dahlia Handicap at Hollywood Park.

Capricorn Belle will be ridden by Chris McCarron while Justicara will be ridden by Laffit Pincay in the fourth running of the race for older fillies and mares. Capricorn Belle and Justicara were assigned co-high weights of 118 pounds each.

Savannah Dancer, who will be ridden by Bill Shoemaker, was assigned 117 pounds for the 1 1-16 mile race on Hollywood Park's turf course.

Others entered were Solva, who will be ridden by Fernando Toro and was assigned 115 pounds; Zaizafon, Eddie Delahoussaye, 113 pounds; Clouds Daughter, Sandy Hawley, 113 pounds; La Mimosa, Eric St. Martin, 112 pounds; Time for a Slam, Darrel McHargue, 111 pounds; Auntie Betty, Patrick Valenzuela, 111 pounds, and Exclusive Story, Corey Black, 108 pounds.

If all 10 entries go to the post, the total purse will be $112,200 and the winner will collect $67,200.
