A 1 1/2-block area north of the Milwaukee Arena was chosen to be the site of a $40-million Bradley Center sports and entertainment complex. It would be the home arena of the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA.
The Journal Co., which publishes The Milwaukee Journal and Milwaukee Sentinel, has said it will make the lot, now used for parking, available.
Charles McNeer, chairman of the site committee, said that if final approval is granted, construction could begin in April and that he expected it be finished in time for the start of the Bucks’ fall season in 1987.
