Harbor police recovered the body Wednesday of a 34-year-old sailor who jumped to his death from the Coronado Bridge, authorities said.
The victim was identified as Chief Petty Officer Marshall J. Pescion of National City, according to the San Diego County coroner’s office.
A witness observed the victim park his car on the bridge at about 9:52 a.m. Wednesday and saw him jump, a deputy coroner said.
Harbor police recovered Pescion’s body near the bridge, the official said.
