Sweepstakes Trophy, most beautiful entry; Singapore Airlines-Singapore Tourist Promotion Board; “Singapore Celebrates the Legend of the Monkey God Festival,” featuring the Monkey God and his primate minions against a background of fans.

Directors’ Trophy, excellence of craftsmanship; City of St. Louis; “Comedie,” Clydesdale horses pulling a Renaissance-era wagon with stages where life-sized marionettes danced.

Pioneers’ Trophy, best characterization of the romance of California; City of Santa Ana; “Friday on the Freeway,” depicting a traffic jam.

International Trophy, most beautiful entry from outside the United States; City of Calgary; “Ups and Downs of Rodeo Clowns,” a clown being thrown into cactus.

Anniversary Trophy, best display of life in the United States; Lutheran Laymen’s League; “And a Time to Laugh,” a father taking a carload of kids to summer Bible camp.

Founders’ Trophy, the most outstanding self-built entry; Cal Poly Universities of Pomona and San Luis Obispo; “Bubble Trouble,” a boy giving his dog and her five puppies a bath.

Isabella Coleman Trophy, most whimsical; Hilton Hotels-Conrad International; “Laughing All the Way,” Santa and his reindeer on a Christmas Eve ride.

Humor Trophy, displaying the most humor; Transamerica Life Cos.; “Let’s Get Physical,” three 23-foot ostriches in leg-warmers and athletic shoes in an aerobics routine.

Judges’ Special Trophy, most unusual entry; Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Co.; “Baskin-Robbins Celebration Salute,” a cake popping open to reveal a teddy bear bowing to the crowd.

Tournament Special Trophy, exceptional merit; Odd Fellows & Rebekahs; “Ten Little Indian Boys,” dancing to the nursery song.
