A motorcyclist was critically injured Monday night when he collided with a car in Dana Point, the California Highway Patrol reported Tuesday.
Ted David Mahurin, 37, of Placentia was in Mission Community Hospital in critical condition after the accident, which occurred in heavy fog, said CHP public affairs officer Ken Daily.
Mahurin, driving a 1974 Kawasaki motorcycle, collided with a car driven by William Deming McGee, 84, of San Juan Capistrano.
The collision occurred when McGee, northbound on Stonehill Drive, turned left onto Selva Road, into the path of Mahurin’s southbound motorcycle, Daily said.
