El Toro : Woman and 7 Children Left Homeless by Fire

A woman and her seven children were left homeless by a fire that caused heavy damage to their home Sunday morning.
No one was injured in the blaze, which started near the fireplace just before 7:30 a.m. and caused an estimated $85,000 in damages to the single-family residence at 24761 Belgreen Place, according to authorities.
Joi Cooper and her children, who range in age from 2 to 16, were being provided with food, clothing and lodging by the American Red Cross.
