“Intimate Sex Lives of Famous People.” Dove. This compilation by the intrepid Irving Wallace family seemed a cute idea. I missed the book--so here was my chance. But I only got through James Dean, Clark Gable, Gary Cooper and a bit of Oscar Wilde, by which time I’d had too much. And Robin Leach’s reading for some reason makes the silliness and sleaze sound more rotten. I missed the truth about Jack Benny, Dwight Eisenhower and others. My threshold is too low.
