Missing Boy Found Dead in His Garage

The body of a 12-year-old boy who had been reported missing by his family Saturday was found Tuesday in the garage of his home near Saugus, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sam Jones said the case is being treated as a homicide, but he would not disclose the cause of death or other details. The boy’s identity also was being withheld Tuesday.
The body was discovered about 4:30 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Fan Court and Bouquet Canyon Road, Jones said.
