Official Calls Death of Saugus Boy Suicide
A 12-year-old Saugus boy whose body was found Tuesday in the garage of his home apparently shot himself, the Los Angles County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.
The boy, who was not identified, had been reported missing by his mother Jan. 21, Lt. Chuck Bradley said. His mother found the body about 4:30 p.m. at their home near Fan Court and Bouquet Canyon Road, Bradley said.
The boy died of a single gunshot wound, Bradley said.
Authorities refused to release additional details.
