Where There Is Smoke There Are Fired-Up Fans
I would like to publicly thank Jerry Buss and the Forum for instituting their no-smoking rule that began this season. I would also like to thank the public address announcer who makes the no-smoking announcement before every Laker event and the ushers who politely, but firmly, enforce this policy while informing smokers that they may smoke in the lobbies.
I would also like to thank all the smokers who politely put out their cigarettes when informed of the new rule.
I would also like to say to those few who still insist on smoking inside the arena after repeated reminders: You people are rude, arrogant, selfish, ignorant, immature, egotistical and socially maladjusted .
Thank you.
