L. A. County Awarded Funds for Infill Units
Los Angles County has been awarded $5 million from the California Housing Finance Agency under its multifamily rehabilitation and infill new construction program.
These funds for rehab and new construction--the largest program allocation in the state--will be used by the county Community Development Commission to construct new units on infill lots large enough for two to 19 units in unincorporated areas.
Construction of the first project under the CHFA allocation, a four-unit building in South-Central Los Angeles, will be started this summer.
