Jogger Shot, Wounded by Burglars
A 29-year-old jogger was in fair condition at Sharp Memorial Hospital on Sunday night after he was reportedly shot in the leg by burglars, police and hospital spokeswomen said.
The jogger, whose identity was not immediately released, was reportedly jogging in the 4600 block of Rueda Drive in Tierrasanta about 8:30 p.m. Sunday when he ran past two burglars piling into their getaway car.
San Diego police were looking for the suspects in the shooting and the burglary of a house in the 4700 block of Calle de Vida, said Lt. Connie Van Putten.
