Culver City : Gymnastics Competition Set
The City Council has voted to become an associate sponsor of 1986 U. S. Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, scheduled for April 16-19.
The sponsorship includes providing a $1,000 cash contribution, making the Veterans Auditorium available for four days without charge, and offering the use of a city bus or van for the athletes.
The auditorium will be used April 16 and 17 for practice. Eighty of the top gymnasts in the nation will compete in preliminaries on April 18 and 19. The finals will be held on April 20 at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
