Moulden Leads San Diego City to Win, 77-73

Kennard Moulden scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to lead the San Diego City College men’s basketball team to a 77-73 win over Imperial Valley Saturday night at IVC.

Gene Ellis had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocked shots for the Knights, who improved to 7-4 in the Pacific Coast Conference, 13-9 overall. Ellis put SDCC ahead to stay, 67-65, with a 15-foot jump shot with 1:37 left.

IVC, ranked 19th in the state, went to 7-3 and 18-10. Michael Benton led the IVC with 14 points.
