Davis-Fiedler Contretemps
With respect to the current Ed Davis-Bobbi Fiedler contretemps, it seems a rather sad commentary on the existing state of our political morality that the main issue raised here is whether or not either or both parties may have breached a rather fine point of electioneering law.
The fact that both parties clearly and cynically violated basic norms of civilized conduct and public trust by secretly negotiating the transfer of funds from the individual these funds were donated to help to the individual these funds were donated to defeat indicates a total lack of ethics on both sides.
A plague on both their houses.
