An electrical fire caused an estimated $350,000 in damage to a Van Nuys firm that manufactures satellite dishes, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters arrived at Solir Corp. on Stagg Street about 7:45 p.m. Monday and found the building filled with smoke and flames, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
It took 11 fire companies about 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze, Wells said.
The fire caused an estimated $100,000 damage to the building and $250,000 to its contents, mostly satellite dishes, Wells said.
