Baseball Commissioner Peter Ueberroth will announce today the results of his interviews with 24 players who either testified or were implicated in testimony at last year’s cocaine-trafficking trials in Pittsburgh.
The commissioner has the power to suspend or fine players, but he has given no indication what action he may take. The players’ union has the right to challenge any penalty through the grievance procedure.
